Experimental Short Film (2012)

Greed translates the insatiable human nature in its need for understanding the world and thus possessing it. Greed for material things is the result of the craving for embracing the infinite, for containing what is free, for explaining the inexplicable and putting a price to the invaluable. This short piece evokes greed in the simple act of attempting to seize the air and fill the cinematographic frame. The elastic material of the container embodies the illusory sensation of control over space and matter, and the color marks the subtle difference between desire and greed. How much is enough?
